Padosi Mart ("we", "our", or "us") operates a community marketplace application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using Padosi Mart, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate the service — create and manage your account, process orders, and enable community store listings.
• Push notifications — send you order status updates and relevant alerts using your FCM token.
• Analytics & improvements — understand how features are used so we can improve the app.
• Community verification — allow community admins to verify stores and manage the marketplace.
• Customer support — respond to enquiries and resolve disputes.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following Google Firebase services, which process data on our behalf under Google's standard data-processing terms:

• Firebase Authentication — sign-in via Google OAuth and phone OTP.
• Cloud Firestore — stores user profiles, store listings, and order data.
• Firebase Storage — stores profile photos and store images.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — delivers push notifications.
• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymised usage analytics.
• Firebase Cloud Functions — runs server-side logic (e.g. order processing).

Firebase services are operated by Google LLC and are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Data is processed in accordance with Google Cloud's data-processing terms.

4. Data Retention

• Account & profile data — retained for as long as your account is active.
• Order history — retained for as long as your account is active to provide order lookup.
• Push notification tokens — removed from our database when you sign out or delete your account.
• Analytics data — aggregated and anonymised; retained per Google's standard Firebase Analytics retention settings.
• After account deletion — your profile, orders, and store data are deleted immediately from our Firestore database. Anonymised analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may persist in Firebase Analytics per Google's data-retention policies.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Data at rest is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which applies encryption at rest by default. We apply Firestore security rules so that users can only read and write their own data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information via the Edit Profile screen in the app.
• Delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting us.
• Withdraw consent to analytics by disabling analytics in your device settings or contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Padosi Mart is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
